Seat Toledo

I generation (1991-1998)

After the takeover of the Spanish brand by a German company, Seat in 1991 showed the 1st generation Seat Toledo car with an internal factory index 1L, as a lower middle class sedan. The car has a slightly angular appearance, but for its time it looked quite attractive. The interior of the Seat Toledo 1 received a fairly roomy luggage compartment of 550 liters.

You can also transform the back row, which allows you to significantly increase the volume of loading. Salon Seat Toledo is made quite concisely, but the ergonomics of the controls deserve high marks. As for interior trim, the Spaniards used quality materials. This includes a solid fabric, as well as soft plastic.

Various engines were installed as technical equipment on the sedan. It could be a 1.6-liter gasoline, which generated from 72 to 101 horsepower, a 1.8-liter, developing from 90 to 128 horsepower, and a 2.0-liter engine, producing 116-150 "horses".

II generation (1998-2004)

Seat Toledo 2 decided to produce in 1998. The car was produced in the sedan version, but the hatchback version was presented as a separate car - the Seat Leon. Already in 1999, the company began serial assembly. The Italian designer Giorgetto Giugiaro worked on the development of the exterior of the Seat Toledo. The new generation relied on 15-inch wheels. Appearance has become much better. It is good that the sedan has a galvanized body that does not rust.

The interior of the Seat Toledo 2 is also much better. Some even compare it with the interior of the Audi A3 of those years. In addition to leather, expensive Spanish options have an electric driver's seat, which is quite rare in this class. Also, a fairly budget car is equipped with air conditioning, hydraulic power steering, steering wheel adjustment for angle and reach.

III generation (2004-2009)

As for the third generation, the car was equipped with a one-volume body, which is something between a hatchback and a minivan. The design of the 3rd generation Seat Toledo car belongs to the famous Walter de Silva. The novelty has become more modern, streamlined. The front part received large light optics, between which there is a compact radiator grille.

Inside the car has also changed. A 3-spoke functional steering wheel was installed in front of the driver. Behind it is a dashboard with 3 wells. The center console, as before, stands out in the upper part of the "climate" deflectors.

Below are just the controls for the ventilation system and "music". The volume of the luggage compartment remained at the same level - 500 liters. The engineers built their car on the Volkswagen PQ35 platform (together with the Volkswagen Golf and Skoda Octavia 2).

IV generation (2012-2019)

The last (at the moment) 4 family of Seat Toledo debuted during the Paris Motor Show in 2012. The new car is the twin brother of the Skoda Rapid liftback. However, the topic of kinship does not surprise anyone, since the Spanish and Czech cars (as well as the companies that produce them) are under the control of the great company VW AG.
