This is the fourth generation of the Volkswagen Jetta, which was renamed Bora for the European market.

The appearance of the Bora will not tell you about driving comfort, thoughtfulness and pleasant little things, about the character of the car. Frankly speaking, "clumsy" design, right angles and clear lines. No smoothness or transitions. All in the style of Mercedes-Benz 190 (W201). The car itself looks small. Short wheelbase, small doors. Behind the same story with smooth straight lines.

In total there were several versions or modifications of Bora:

Bora Trendline is a sporty version with beautiful Avus wheels and sports seats.

Bora Comfortline - the version of the increased comfort. The front seat backs have lumbar adjustment. That is, the backrest can be adjusted according to the slope in the lower back.

Bora Highline - version for the most "picky" buyers. Externally, the car is distinguished by excellent Le Castellet wheels, fog lamps and fine wood inserts on the door handle and console.

It is also worth noting in appearance, the quality and thickness of the paintwork, as this is a painful topic for Japanese cars, where even light stroking of the branches leaves serious scratches. In Bora, you can be sure of your body, which is not only protected by a thick layer of paintwork, but also super anti-corrosion.

In technical terms, the Volkswagen Bora cannot boast of anything special, and this is not even necessary, since this is a C-class car and was created for completely different purposes. The base of the Bora car is built on the basis of the 4th generation Golf. It has long been known to everyone that Golfs are distinguished by their soft ride and ease of control. So Bora has it too.

The suspension is not quite standard: in front of McPherson on one lever, but in the back - not a standard multi-link, but a “beam”. And just because of the beam, this car is in some way less comfortable, but more profitable in terms of maintenance. Since you will have to spend money on only one silent block, and even then, the period of his life is very long.
